Welcome! Reverend Mary is an ordained interfaith minister who is currently serving as a wedding officiant in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her relaxed demeanor and her great sense of humor immediately puts others at ease. She is open to marrying couples from all cultural and religious backgrounds and also offers commitment ceremonies and civil unions to same-sex couples in California.
Reverend Mary was born and raised in Windsor, Connecticut where she studied religion and spirituality for over thirteen years. She was ordained as a non-denominational minister in Torrington, Connecticut in the year 2000. At that time she created her own culturally diverse and non-dogmatic church in Chicopee, Massachusetts. The First Church of Diversity & Empowerment was created to help others to re-think traditional religion and all of its limitations, to a more global approach to spiritual understanding. Her degree is in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Massachusetts. As a minister in the service of mankind, she teaches spirituality one soul at a time and has an enormous impact on everyone she meets.
